Want to lose 1 pound per week? Don’t do this

Let’s set up this straight.

Losing 1 pound per week is totally possible, and you don’t have to go crazy low on calories, do tons of cardio (if any) and you shouldn’t feel like dieting at all when doing it.

The thing is not everyone should — or will — lose 1 pound per week.

Some might lose more (maybe 2–3) and others might lose less.

What determines the difference?

The way you approach dieting and how fast you should actually lose weight.

You see, we want to lose fat for the most part (we’ll inevitably lose a little bit of muscle and water, as well as other components)… but to do this, you have to pay attention to how aggressive you’re with your approach.

Sure, cut everything you eat in half and you will lose weight.

But in 3–4 weeks, you’ll face 2 main issues:

  1. You’ll be stuck (that’s just how it is) and you’ll be tempted to lower more your calories or add hours of exercise/cardio… starting the vicious cycle of going hungry, having cravings, and making things worse.
  2. Depending on your current situation, you probably lost a lot of weight… but it doesn’t mean all of it (or most of it) came from fat.

There’s no point in going into this scenario where you could take a less aggressive and more science-based approach to lose fat.

What if all you needed to start seeing results (and lose 1 pound or maybe more) was to cut calories by 350kcal?

Well, you can know exactly how much you need to eat to lose either 1 pound or more per week…

and it all comes down to knowing the building block of all diets.

This is why choosing any diet without having the basic concept of the science of fat loss in place won’t get you to lose 1 pound per week.

And if it does, it will be at the expense of feeling stuck and miserable while doing it.

You’ll be the judge on that.

Just know that choosing keto because “it forces your body to use ketones as a source of energy to lose fat” is the recipe to keep struggling with diets again and again — and this goes for any diet as well.

That’s why if you want to truly know everything you need to know to make your next diet the last one you’ll need to lose fat and keep it off, then get my new ebook “Fat Loss On Demand”
