If you’re doing keto for fat loss, this might disappoint you

Doing keto is superior for fat loss given the effects it causes on the body, right?

Well, science is clear on this.

Multiple studies have tested this hypothesis.

They divide people into either a low-carb high-fat (LCHF) diet as keto, or a high-carb low-fat (HCLF) diet.

The results?

Well, there’s no difference in terms of fat loss… not anything significant, at least.

The same results also showed for other parameters like LBM retention.

So this means that while doing keto is beneficial for fat loss, it’s not any different than doing a diet more moderate in carbs.

If you’re feeling great doing keto for fat loss AND feel you can keep doing it for the rest of your life, then go ahead.

But if you can’t go your day on keto while thinking about food (especially carbs),…

then you’re gonna want to consider a diet that works for you and not against you.

A diet that’s based not only on science but that it’s sustainable and (ideally) makes you not feel like dieting at all while losing fat (pretty much) on demand.

Science is clear on this.

When you have the building block of all diets in place, choosing a diet that will help you lose fat (by keeping what I mentioned above into account) is the key to losing fat and keeping it off.

Doing keto just for the effects they claim to make it seem as superior is only going to get you where you started…

and maybe worse.

So don’t jump to a diet (not only keto) thinking it’s going to have some greater effects than other approaches.

Focus on the building block of all diets first, then choose what you’re going to sustain for the rest of your life.

Keep this in mind if you’re on a diet right now (or planning to be on one soon).
