How to Not gain weight during the upcoming holidays

If you think that it’s inevitable to gain weight during the upcoming weeks, let me show you a better way.

It’s quite impossible to spend this time with friends and family — and of course, food is part of it.

Now, while many people think you can’t just control the food you eat (let alone, stay on a diet and succeed)…

there’s a simple solution to this.

When you have a system in place with your diet, you stop worrying about the outcome.

Let me say that again.

The moment you follow a particular system in the form of a strategy, you can know whether you’ll gain or lose fat.

Here’s a quick example of what I mean.

If you want to lose fat during these holidays, you know you should not overeat from what you’re currently eating.

The moment you go into “screw it” mode because you ate something you weren’t “supposed” to eat or you use the old “I’ll burn it tomorrow” mindset is where issues come up.

But having a system in place can help you deal with these scenarios.

Is it perfect? No

Does it work every single time? Definitely not

But reducing the frequency of such scenarios to happen makes it more likely for you to succeed.

Plus, when you trust the process (or the system), you know you’ll be within your limits and then see the results you want.

It’s a very simple answer and I can’t give a concrete example for a reason.

I don’t know your specific situation…

As such, I can’t tell you something specific based on your current diet and goals.

But I can show you how to think of dieting in terms of a system to follow rather than just food.

But don’t get me wrong.

I’m not saying food is just about following a system.

Because the last thing I want you to think is that food is as simple as just a matter of eating and that’s it.

I’ve talked before about how our mood, social pressure, and other external factors play a role in our behavior when it comes to eating.

Just know it’s possible to keep losing fat (or maintain your weight) during the holidays.

And you don’t have to sacrifice social events or your results for this.

There are always ways to work around both and enjoy the moment with those around you while still making progress in your diet.
